Shame Legacy

This game has received a PEGI 16 because it features strong violence, scenes of intense and sustained horror, and use of strong language. Not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.
Survival horror game, in which the player’s character wakes up in a village in the 1800s, suffering from amnesia. The player must solve puzzles to work out what has happened, while using stealth to escape from the villagers and others who are hunting you.

Rating issues

This game features strong violence. The player’s character can hit other human characters, resulting in realistic-looking reactions, and some sight of blood. If the player’s character is caught, the sounds of a violent attack can be heard, including screams, and blood spatters around the edge of the screen. There is some sight of blood in the aftermath of violence and a scene which implies torture.

There are also intense and sustained sequences in which the player’s character is pursued by characters who want to kill him. These characters, which are both human and more fantastical, call out comments such as “You can’t hide” and “You think you can run”.

There is occasional use of strong language (‘fuck’).
