Violence consists of side-scrolling, arcade style beat-‘em-up action. The player’s team of ninjas must fight against various enemy characters, including demons, slashing at them with bladed weapons. When demons are hit, they flinch and their health bars deplete. Blows also result in exaggerated blood sprays. As defeated demons fall to the floor, players may decapitate or dismember them before they disappear. No graphic wound detail is shown. At the end of boss battles, ninjas can slash their enemies across their stomachs, leaving a gaping wound spraying blood.

Strong language (‘fuck’) occurs during battle scenes, as well as milder bad language such as ‘shit’ and ‘asshole’.
