Rating issues

Most of the violence in this game is non-realistic to fantasy characters. When enemies are hit, flashes of light are seen, before they fall to the ground. There are some black splashes of blood that appear on certain characters when this happens. Their bodies disappear after a few seconds. When the player is hit, their body turns bright orange for a brief period, before returning to normal. In cut scenes, the violence to fantasy characters is more realistic: there is a scene in which a carrot character has been grabbed by an enemy. When she is dropped, she falls to the ground and as she does, puddles of orange can be seen pooling around her (these are to resemble blood). The character grunts in pain as this happens.

This game also contains use of bad language including ‘bastard’, ‘shit’ and ‘bloody’.

Other issues

This game features some combat scenes where intense music is heard and boss characters appear whose appearance may be scary to younger players.

The parasitic mushroom enemies in this game are referred to as the “Magic Mushrooms”. Although the name of a drug, this game does not contain any drug references or use of any drugs.
