Sniper Elite V2 Remastered is an updated version of the original Sniper Elite V2. You are elite US sniper, Karl Fairburne. You have been sent behind enemy lines into besieged Berlin during the final moments of World War II. With the Russians tightening their grip around Berlin, several top figures in the German V2 rocket program look likely to fall into their hands. You cannot let this happen.

Rating issues

Player can use contemporary weapons to kill enemy soldiers, those killed by firearms respond in a realistic manner, this is accompanied by some blood splatter. Explosions will not cause any dismemberment etc. Game has a special ‘X-Ray Kill Cam’ where you see an internal view of the body as the bullet passes through penetrating organs causing them to burst. Bullets are also seen breaking bones and teeth.

Other issues

The game features scenes of smoking which are presented as a neutral activity.
