SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS

This game has received a PEGI 7 because it features mild violence that lacks any apparent harm or injury to fantasy creatures and pictures likely to be scary to young children. Not suitable for persons under 7 years of age. This game also features in-game purchases.
Collection of two 3D Sonic games. The first game in the collection is a remastered version of the 2011 release Sonic Generations, and the second game is a newly-developed spin-off themed around Shadow the Hedgehog named Shadow Generations. Both are 3D platform games that combine high-speed and classic platforming.

Rating issues

Violence is unrealistic in nature and is always directed at fantasy characters. Enemies disappear in puffs of smoke when defeated and often leave behind rings for the player to pick-up. There’s no visible harm seen on the protagonists or enemies.

This game features images that would likely scare young children. There is a boss whose design is menacing.

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of bonus levels, skins, surprise items, music, virtual coins and other forms of in-game currency, subscriptions, season passes and upgrades (e.g. to disable ads).
