This game features realistic-looking violence between robot characters. The robots have human facial features but the rest of their bodies are mechanical. There are also mechanical dogs. Damaging hits results in splashes of oil.

Cutscenes, in which the narrative is presented, also depict human characters. The violence in these scenes is either minor in nature, such as slaps to the face, or only implied, such as a scene in which the KIng’s neck is placed on a guillotine, before the screen turns black. No decapitation is shown.

There are piles of dead bodies in the streets and inside the buildings of Paris, with some sight of blood on them and with some missing limbs.

The game also includes use of the word ‘whore’.
