One game, ‘Sagebrush’, includes written references to dark and disturbing themes, including murder, sexual exploitation, self-harm and mutilation, in the context of a religious cult. There is a sequence in which members of a cult take their own lives, consuming barbiturates distributed by the player’s character, after which they lock themselves into a church which they set on fire. The characters are depicted as faceless shadows and no physical reaction is shown to the flames. There are no visible injuries.
