The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication

First-person survival horror game which plays out from the perspective of four students that are members of the film club at Wen Hua University. As a means to get new members to join, they investigate mysterious ghost stories local to the campus in order to put together a viral horror sensation.

Rating issues

This game contains horrific depictions of death and injury towards human characters. Some characters are shown to die or be injured in horrific circumstances: a male character is impaled through the torso by a monster. Large amounts of blood are seen as the man groans in pain before falling to the ground and a hole is left in his body. Similarly, another scene shows a ballerina is dancing before she trips and falls face first onto a nail. As she lifts her head, her eyeball is seen coming out of her head. As she gets up, the ballerina is heard crying and screaming in fear.

This game also contains strong language including ‘fuck’ and its derivatives. Milder bad language is also present including ‘shit’, ‘bastard’ and ‘goddamn’.

Other issues

This game also features intense and sustained horror sequences and strong gory images. There are scenes in the game with an unrelenting sense of imminent threat where the player is pursued relentlessly by characters who intend to tear them apart.
