Rating issues

This game contains depictions of graphic violence, which includes dismemberment and horrific depictions of death or injury towards human characters. Frequently throughout the game, characters are attacked in gruesome ways including impalement and decapitation. There is a scene at the beginning of the game where the player will happen upon an area where there is implied violence towards a baby. Although the player is aware that the baby has died, no images are ever shown of the baby or the aftermath of the violence. During gameplay it is possible to kill the killer prior to them killing the baby.

This game also contains the use of strong language including ‘fuck’ and it’s derivatives. Milder bad language is also present including ‘shit’, ‘bastard’, ‘asshole’ and ‘goddamn’.

Other issues

This game also features strong gory images. In an early scene in the game while exploring the warehouse, a dog is seen eating organs and bones. Upon inspection of the meat, the player discovers that this used to be a human (a human ear is discovered in the mess). Later on in the game, the player discovers the killer’s old hideout and finds jars that are covered in dust. Upon wiping at these jars, dismembered heads and other body parts are seen in formaldehyde. Blood and gore details are seen in these jars.
