The player follows the members of Class VII and their allies as they try to prevent a massive war that would result in the destruction of their world.

This game contains frequent depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. When characters are impacted, bright lights and effects appear, while numbers indicate the amount of damage that has been inflicted. When a character’s health bar has been depleted, they immediately vanish from the battlefield in a cloud of smoke.

The game also contains infrequent use of offensive language (‘shit’, ‘asshole’, ‘bitch’).

There is a scene in which a group of men and women are bathing in a hot spring together. One of the women is pulled onto another woman’s lap, who then gropes her breasts.

There is a casino location in the game where the player is able to learn how to play and bet on games such as blackjack and poker.
