This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence, violence against vulnerable and defenceless characters, and use of strong language.
Team-based horror game, based on the 1974 horror film, in which players take on either the roles of the Slaughter family or their victims. The victims must work together to escape the family’s compound while the family must try to capture the victims.

Rating issues

This game features graphic violence, including against vulnerable characters, such as a woman being forced to her knees and her face being forced into the spinning blade of a saw. The violence results copious blood and features elements such as stabbing, slicing and throat cutting.

The game also includes use of strong language (‘fuck’).

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of weapons, skins, and maps which will be purchasable via the PS Store or Xbox live store through in-game menus. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
