The Witness

You’re the witness of past events that took place on this colourful island. You play as an undefined human which you never see. Who the main character is, is not important. You’re here to discover what happened and why nobody inhabits this island. This is done by solving puzzles, a lot of them. Occasionally you’ll find an audio log which tells a story. This doesn’t have to be a direct story in regards to the events that happened. It hints at specific themes.

The game features a statue which shows a bare chested female.

Other issues

The bright and colourful surroundings give a warm and friendly feel to this island. Even though the island is completely abandoned and you venture in broken down structures, the game never wants to scare you. The game is an open world adventure which revolves around puzzles which become increasingly difficult. Because of this the game might not be suitable for the youngest of players.
