Rating issues
This game features violence against human characters. Gameplay violence generally involves the use of firearms, although other weapons such as swords, clubs and axes are also available. Depending on the type of weapon used, death may occur fairly quickly or take a number of shots or hits. Characters either disintegrate quickly or turn black, as if burnt, and remain in view for a time before disappearing. Violence is generally unrealistic in nature, although reactions are occasionally more realistic, for example when characters are thrown a distance by an explosion.
Violence towards fantasy characters is similar to violence against humans although, when shot by a large calibre weapons, they tend to explode, resulting in blue/green blood and chunks of matter that eventually disappear.
Other issues
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of downloadable Post Launch Content releases in a first party store. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
The game also includes use of bad language, such as ‘bastard’, ‘bitch’, ‘bloody’, ‘bollocks’, ‘dick’, ‘piss’, ‘wanker’ and ‘WTF’.
