Rating issues

This game contains depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human and animal characters. Hunters are armed with spears and wander the environment, searching for deer. When a target is spotted, a spear will fire from the hunter in the direction of the deer and disappear. The deer will then fall to the ground in a puddle of blood. After a while, the carcass will disappear and the blood will fade away. At times, enemy warriors will attack the city. Warriors are armed with spears, which they wave and throw at the settlements.  Characters have life meters which deplete if they are attacked. These characters show no physical responses nor are any wounds seen. Upon death, characters fall to the ground in a puddle of blood. Sacrifices are seen during gameplay. When performing a sacrifice, a non-detailed person can be seen lying on an altar, while a priest stands over them. The priest and victim both then disappear, replaced by a large amount of blood on the pyramid steps, which fades away. No actual killing or gore is depicted here.

Other issues

Characters wear period appropriate Aztec clothing and as such, some of the female characters are depicted topless, although no nipples are shown and there is nothing sexual in their behaviour.
