This is a turn-based game in which the combative elements take place in an arena environment. The player’s character and team members take turns using physical as well as mystical weapons against a selected foe. All characters have a finite life expectancy which is governed by a number of factors, which in turn are influenced by the strength of an attack. Fantasy characters will disappear in a flash of light. Human characters will recoil and utter pain noises. When a human character is defeated it will fall to its knees and remain motionless. It is possible for a surviving team member to use a ‘heal’ ability which can revive a downed team member.

There is the occasional use of the mild swearing words ‘bastard’ and ‘shit’.
