The game involves the player following the 3 stages of a Bullfight. The first stage involves the Matador confronting the Bull and performing certain manoeuvres with the cape; the second then brings into play the use of the ‘Banderillas’, which are sharp, harpoon-like barbed instruments coloured red and yellow that the Matador must place into the muscle behind the Bull’s head; and the third is the culmination of these techniques plus the final act of killing the Bull with a sword.

Despite the Bull being stabbed by the Banderillas, there is no visible signs of injury or blood, when contact is made the Bull does not react to the violence as it would in real life, whereupon it would apparently stop bellowing loudly. After a short moment the Bull resumes its attack against the Matador.

Should the Matador be struck by the Bull, he will fall ‘rag doll’ fashion to the floor and then stand up and continue, again there is no visible sign of injury or blood.

The act of killing the Bull with a sword is not seen on screen, the camera cuts away at the last moment as the sword is plunged at the Bull.
