Gameplay includes armed conflict using modern contemporary weapons. Combat between opposing forces ranges from a group or groups of soldiers using rifles and automatic weapons which can cause realistic looking violence, to the use of mechanised vehicles (tanks etc.), warplanes and airborne laser platforms. Explosions caused by the latter create large flashes of light which masks the moment of impact, when the light dissipates, characters can be seen lying on the ground. There are no blood effects.
