Throughout the game, there are mentions of drugs. No images are ever shown of illicit substances, nor does the player ever interact with these.

This game also features depictions of violence of a minor nature towards human characters that does not result in any obvious injury or harm. Soldiers can be seen hitting other characters; lines come from them when this happens. No pained sounds are heard, and reactions are non-realistic. If a soldier gets too close to the player and the player fails to escape, the soldier hits the player in a first-person perspective, causing the screen to go black. The player then wakes up in an empty street. During this time, there is no blood or any violent sounds.

Beer bottles and cigarettes are often seen in the environment. However, players are never able to interact with/consume these substances.

Some scenes depict blood as the game is set in a war zone. For example, a man is seen leaning against a plank of wood. Blood is seen over the plank and on his arms. A man is standing beside him and looks to be patching him up. The player does not see how the character ended up with this injury.
