Players control a tiny “doll” made from a thread of yarn called Yarny. As Yarny moves, he loses “lines” of yarn along the way. These lines of yarn can be used by the player to solve puzzles and progress in the game. The focus of the game is on puzzling and platforming. Yarny does not have any attacks but can, from time to time, encounter animals that can attack him.
