Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story is a resource management game with a RTS (Real time strategy) battle system. The player is appointed a principal role for Valthiria’s Academy of Heroes, a place where students train to be knights, mages, scouts and more.

This game contains frequent depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like and fantasy characters. Bright lights and magical effects appear on impact of attacks, while numbers in the air show the amount of damage inflicted to each character. Human characters have little to no reaction when they have been attacked, they brightly flash and make pained grunts. When they have been defeated they fall to the floor and quickly vanish.
