Rating issues

The game features strong arcade violence. Enemies, including snakes and zombies, will explode into flesh-covered bones and blood when struck by Volgarr’s swords and spears.

When Volgarr himself is defeated, he will disappear in a hail of blood, turning first into a fleshy skeleton. Some monsters come to an equally gruesome end, such as a gigantic green, masked man who is decapitated by Volgarr’s sword, leaving a headless body and gushing neck wound. A gigantic snake is dispatched in a similar manner, leaving a serpentine stump behind.
