Players travel through a water-based world and occasionally engage in battles with fantasy enemies. When enemies are hit, stars appear above their heads. They disappear in a cloud when defeated. There is also a boss battle with a large sea serpent. The player’s character reacts to violence in a similar manner.

Some cutscenes revolve around distressed characters and an ominous tidal wave. These scenes may be disturbing to younger players.
