This game features frequent combat between human-like and fantasy characters. The violence is unrealistic in nature, as are reactions to it. Enemies flash when hit, show damage on health bars, and disappear when defeated, leaving behind coins or hearts. The protagonist starts blinking whenever she is hit. Human characters all have unrealistic, cartoon-like proportions, which helps to make the violence less disturbing. Although ‘boss’ monsters are bigger and more menacing than regular enemies, they are not very scary.
