Strategy horror role-playing game, set in a fictional Japanese fishing town in the 1980s, in which players solve a series of puzzles in order to open the door to a lighthouse and stop a dark ceremony that will summon an Old God to the real world.

Rating issues

This game contains gory images such as sight of the aftermath of a needle having been inserted into an eyeball. The actual insertion is not shown. There is also sight of dead bodes and other gruesome images throughout the game, which has a generally dark tone.

Other issues

The game also includes implied violence. While players can choose which weapons to use in scenes of combat, any actual violence is masked by a flash of light. There is also use of bad language, including ‘piss’, ‘shit’ and ‘bastard’, as well as visual and verbal references to suicide. For example, a character holds a knife to their chest, although the act of suicide is not shown.
