Violence is primarily towards human-like zombie characters. When these characters are shot, using guns or crossbows, they recoil with each impact. Blood effects are used to indicate damage and characters can be dismembered by more powerful weapons, including explosives. Heads and limbs can be blown off and enemies can explode into gore. The player also wields a machete, which can be used to dismember fallen enemies.

The game also contains strong language (‘fuck’), as well as use of milder terms.
