Violence during gameplay is generally moderate in nature, involving a mixture of medieval weapons and magic, which are used against both humans and fantasy creatures. Damage is indicated by numbers representing a character’s health. However, finishing moves performed by the player’s character include stronger elements of violence, with enemies crying out in pain as they killed by being slashed or impaled. There is sight of blood, although no graphic injuries are shown.

Cinematic sequences include other elements of strong violence, such as a person being held in the air by her neck before a demon stabs her and tosses her aside to bleed out. There are also scenes showing humans being mauled or cut down by demons.
