Gameplay violence is predominantly unrealistic with magical and physical attacks causing bright flashes and number damage, with some blood puff effects. Defeated enemies can disappear with no gory details depicted. Should the player be defeated, they will faint and a “game over” message will appear, prompting the player to “resume” or “return to title screen”. Cinematic violence contains a mixture of moderate to realistic; a character punches and knocks out another character in order to carry them to safety. Another scene shows a character being stabbed. He bleeds profusely and blood is seen on his torso as he is slumped on the ground and being held up by another character. There is another cutscene during gameplay that shows a female character punching a male character in the stomach. The man grunts in pain before grabbing at his stomach and collapsing to the ground. No blood is shown in this scene, but reactions are realistic.

This game features bad language including the words ‘shit’, ‘whoresons’, ‘piss’ and ‘bastards’.
This game has several references to alcohol but at no point in the game is the player able to interact with alcohol. Alcohol can be used as a health potion. The player is able to obtain mead which provides health buffs to them. This mead can be used to revive allies and recover 75% HP. Although the player is not ever seen drinking this.
There is an instance of sexual innuendo in the game. A male and female character are questioned about the previous evening. The female character says “it’s all a bit hazy, but things got real hot and heavy that night. We were really goin’ at it”. While the player is aware that the girl is referencing a fight that they were in, the language makes it seem sexual.
The game contains enemies whose designs may be scary to younger children.
